“It’s all very odd, Doris”
“I have no idea what it is Mavis, or what they are doing. Not sure I want to know either”
“This one looks rude, are they boobs?”
“No eyes, I think, mmm, no maybe no boobs, odd boobs”
Is that their heads, I assume they are people. Look one there and oh are there two of them I just don’t know”
“No I think you’re right, I think there are two of them, but what are they doing”
“You mean you don’t know! Do you need me to draw you a picture?”
“No George I do not need a picture there are enough of those in here, and you can stop staring at that ladies….. Well I just don’t know”

“But Mavis, I’m just appreciating the art that’s all. You have to look at it from all directions I saw in on the TV on that Sister Wendy”
“George, Sister Wendy was a nun, a sweet old lady she never looked at paintings like that, come along now”
“Oh my goodness Doris, don’t look. Don’t let George look”

“George that’s filth, it’s disgusting, now come along. Doros are you okay? Shall we find the cafe and have a nice cup of tea.”
“Yes Mavis and a nice slice of cake”
“George, George I’ve told you, stop looking at that ladies……… Oh my goodness Doris have you seen that”

“Come along Mavis, let's get that cup of and cake. Ladies, lets beat the queue”
“Well Doris, I think this is the last time we try a cultural coach trip, we’ll stick to the seaside next time”
“Yes dear, but then you’ll have to keep your George away from the naughty postcards, he got banned from that shop last year”
“Now that’s better Doris, none of that modern rubbish”
